The Iron Maidens – An all-female tribute to metal act Iron Maiden (pictured above). 8 p.m. Friday at the Observatory, 3503 S. Harbor Blvd., Santa Ana. $15. All-ages.

Off Center Festival: Lord Huron – With Afro-Caribbean percussion, luminous harmonies and blown-out reverb incorporated into its world-beat, folk-rock sound, Lord Huron is worth all of the hype and attention its received so far.  Local act, the Union Line opens. 8 p.m. Friday. Founders Hall, at Segerstrom Center for the Arts, 600 Town Center Drive, Costa Mesa. $20. All-ages.

The Culture Carnival – A celebration of art and music featuring exhibits, live bands, DJs, food, T-shirt screen printing and more. Midnight Hour, the Gromble, the Spell and Jupilar performs.  7 p.m. Friday. Culture Carnival Warehouse, 2710 S. Shannon St., Santa Ana. $10. 18-and-up.

NOFX – The L.A.-based punks perform with Lagwagon and Old Man Markley. 8 p.m. Friday. House of Blues, 1530 S. Disneyland Drive, Anaheim.  $25-$27.50. All-ages.

SHOW Saturdays – DJs Felix Cartal, Audiokillers, Catalyst and Sean Greco performs. 9:30 p.m. Saturday. Yost Theater, 307 N. Spurgeon St., Santa Ana. $15-$20.

Falling in Reverse – Oh, Sleeper, Skip the Foreplay and Vale of Avalon opens. 6 p.m. Saturday. The Glass House, 200 W. Second St., Pomona. $13-$15. All-ages.
