Slideshow: Local music fans turn out for ‘A Benefit for Steve’ at the Copper Door

Sweet Relief Musicians fund hosted an evening of live music benefiting Steve Maggiora, keys player of Robert Jon and the Wreck, at the Copper Door in Santa Ana Thursday night. Maggiora had his equipment stolen from his studio in Long Beach and his band and friends – including Micah Brown, Jeramiah Red, Amherst Aisle and Keepers of the Sun – turned out to help raise some money so that he can replace the thousands of dollars worth of equipment that was lost and continue to rock.

Slideshow: Max and the Moon CD release party in Santa Ana

Last night the local band, Max and The Moon, released their new CD “The Way I See” at The Copper Door in Santa Ana. The bar filled up with friends and fans that came out to not only show support but to enjoy the amazing line up. Random Patterns took the stage around 9 p.m., followed by Escalator Hill at 9:45 p.m., Max and The Moon at 10:30 p.m. and Just Eleanor, which closed the night with an 11:15 p.m. set.

Slideshow: Jeramiah Red, Davis Fetter and more perform charity gig at the Copper Door

A handful of local acts came together Tuesday night to benefit Challenge for Charity at the Copper Door in downtown Santa Ana. 2012 OC Music Awards best new artist Jeramiah Red performed along with solo artist Davis Fetter, Adam’s Attic, two-time OC Music Awards best pop winner Stacy Clark and Alice Wallace.

Slide Show: Marc B goes acoustic at the Copper Door in Santa Ana

Local musician Marc B performed an acoustic set last night at the Copper Door in Santa Ana. The native Californian has been playing music since the fifth grade and the years under his belt shines through in his live performance.
