Kid Jay kicked off Labor Day Weekend at Silk the Club at Pechanga on Friday, Aug. 31 and DJ Icy Ice kept the party going on through Saturday, Sept. 1.

Slideshow: “Star Wars: It’s a Tap!” Party at Pizza Port in San Clemente

Pizza Port in San Clemente hosted a “Star Wars: It’s a Tap!” party on Sunday featuring some rare “Star Wars” themed brews including Nerf Herder (English Mild/Brown Ale), Where’s My Light Saber (Irish Stout), Delusions of Grandeur (IPA), Bantha Poodoo (Bourbon Barrel Aged Way Heavy/Scotch Ale), Dark Forces (Baltic Porter) and more.
Fans turned out, some in costume and with lightsabers in hand, for the beer specials ($3-$4) and various food deals as well as screenings of the numerous “Star Wars” films.
