The LAB and the CAMP in Costa Mesa are launching a new series of music events featuring local and national acts beginning Sunday, July 1.

The SOBECA (South On Bristol, Entertainment, Culture, Arts) District, along with support from Planet LA Records and Hubert’s Lemonade, will be spotlighting various artists in it’s SOBECA Summer Sound Series which kicks off on Sunday from noon-7 p.m. at the LAB featuring performances by Open Air Stereo, Allensworth, the Ultimate Bearhug, Billy Kernkamp and the Brides, Parallel, the Flux, Brother C and Sister J and more.

In addition to the main stage in the quad, there will also be a satellite stage set up dubbed the Living Room which will be led by acoustic acts including performances by Ryan Terrigno (of We Are the Arsenal), Connie Lim, Brent Michelle, Orlando Napier and Julia “Juice” Lucafo.

All of these concerts are free to the public and will also include activities and promotions to support local arts charities like Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, Music Saves Lives and more. The next event will be held at the CAMP on Sunday, Aug 5 (details to come) and both the LAB and CAMP will be hosting a special weekend-long event on Aug. 25-26 featuring an extensive lineup of artists.
