It’s definitely not all glitz and glam backstage at the 2012 Vans Warped Tour. It’s pretty dirty and when you cram a dozen band members and a road crew into one bus, things can get a bit smelly as well.
OrangeCounty.com hung out behind-the-scenes during the Warped Tour stop at the Orange County Great Park in Irvine to chat with artists like Breathe Carolina (pictured above), Every Time I Die, the Used and the Ghost Inside. We even caught up with former Tustin resident and actor Matthew Lillard (“Scream,” “SLC Punk,” “Scooby Doo”). Between sets and meals, bands hung out, played games like bean bags and washers and cruised out into the crowds to see some of their friends perform.
The Used was nice enough to invite us onto it’s air conditioned bus for a chat and Every Time I Die vocalist Keith Buckley let us know that there were 15 people sleeping on it’s bus which it shared with Blessthefall. Check out our interviews with the bands as well as Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman in the video below.
