Each week, thousands of AfterWork scouts fan out across the county, from Brea to San Clemente, in search of new places to enjoy happy hour.

They do this thankless task with little regard for their own safety or waistline. And they have no expectations of getting reimbursed for their expenses, and they certainly don’t expect to get a pat on the back. Hence the thankless task.

Despite their best efforts, they can’t find every great happy hour in Orange County. If you know of a hot place that they missed, let us know. There is no money in it for you, either. It’s just the satisfaction of letting someone else know where to get discounts on beer and wings. You’ll thank us later when you can’t find a parking space at your favorite watering hole because it’s become so popular.

In the meantime, here are the places we did find in the first half of the year. Perhaps you’ll find your favorite place in our next year-end slideshow? Once again, there is no money in it for you.
