Funk, Latin and soul music filled the chilly air along the Queen Mary Seawalk in Long Beach on Saturday night as the inaugural GrooveFest kicked off. Southern California artists including OO Soul, Breakestra, the Original Stone City Band and 2012 OC Music Awards best Latin winners Boogaloo Assassins all took the stage as fans grooved along to the music and huddled close to stay warm.
