To celebrate the 20 year anniversary of its second studio album, Ignition, Huntington Beach-based rockers the Offspring will be performing it front-to-back during a special show at Alex’s Bar in Long Beach on May 3. With only roughly 200 tickets to go around, they will be sold through a lottery system via the band’s official website beginning today and ending at 10 a.m. tomorrow (April 26).
Winners, which will be chosen at random, will be notified by the end of the day tomorrow if they were selected to be allowed to purchase a pair of tickets, which are going for $25 each plus fees. This show is will call only and 21-and-up.
The Offspring’s Dexter Holland and Noodles will be dropping by the studios of KROQ 106.7 FM this Friday to debut the single “Days Go By” off it’s upcoming album of the same name during the 7 a.m. hour of the Kevin & Bean morning show. The Offspring is also performing at the sold-out KROQ 20th Annual Weenie Roast y Fiesta at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater on May 5 alongside Coldplay, Garbage, Incubus, Pennywise and more.
