The Kings Inn at Memphis Café in Costa Mesa presented local duo Cherokee Fade, which surprised the indie crowd with its original country-inspired set.

Headliners Summer Twins turned up the volume a little and got the Memphis crowd rockin’ with its full-band sound. Summer Twins will be hosting its album release party at Harvard & Stone (5221 Hollywood Blvd., Los Angeles) at 9 p.m. Jan. 25.
